CAN Staff

Lora Joye

CAN strives to meet our beneficiaries needs including guiding them through their journey to recovery and peace of mind. CAN's Beneficiary Coordinator serves as the liaison between patients and the resources available to them within the community.

This position assists clients in locating additional resources locally and throughout the nation. These resources include insurance premium coverage, co-pays, medications, wish fulfillments, and many cancer-related products. Some of the free items available include flights to medical appointments, ground travel and housing, retreats, camps, seminars, breast cancer navigation kits, journals, bags, and scarves.

For some, CAN’s help comes in the form of information that can provide understanding, direction or peace of mind. CAN has an extensive Resource Library with complementary educational materials on all forms of cancer. Additional publications discuss nutrition, stress reduction and helpful hints. Materials are available in English and Spanish; for adults, children, parents, siblings, caregivers, those newly diagnosed, experiencing a relapse, or dealing with advanced cancers.

Volunteer/Outreach

CAN attends health and volunteer fairs throughout Lee and Collier counties to provide awareness and promote CAN's mission even further into our community.
